We managed to get some hands-on time with the recently announced Huawei Mate 10, Huawei Mate 10 Pro and Mate 10 Porsche Design smartphones, and they sure look pretty. Featuring new glossy glass backs and a signature stripe across the camera section, the multi-axis rear design looks just awesome while the 5.9-inch and 6-inch FullView displays offer plenty of screen in 5.5-inch metal framed bodies. Check out the tech specs and hands-on pics and videos below for a closer look.

Huawei officially announced their flagship Huawei Mate 10 and Huawei Mate 10 Pro smartphones today with mostly NPU (Neural-network Processing Unit) assisted features for 599 euros (~RM2986) and 699 euros (~RM3484). The Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design was also revealed for 1499 euros (~RM7473). No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet, but we expect it to be lower than the pricing above (as Malaysian pricing has generally been lower than European pricing), with the first 2 coming to Malaysia soon.

A Weibo user has recently taken a few snapshots of his apparently new Huawei Mate 10 Pro and was kind enough to share it in the internet for us to experience its full glory.Based on what we can see, the Huawei Mate 10 Pro indeed promises a f/1.6 lenses for its dual camera comprising of 20-megapixel and 12-megapixel sensors, which will probably use Huawei's classic color/monochrome configuration, all laid symmetrically on a beautiful glass back casing.

Serial leakster @evleaks has done it again with a first sneak peek at the Huawei Mate 10 Pro. Video renders of a Huawei branded phone with an 18:9 aspect ratio display have surfaced recently via TargetYouTube, but it probably isn't the Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design smartphone everyone has been looking for. The key reasons being that while the Huawei branding has been reproduced, there is no sign of any Porsche Design logo or branding at all. Also, the lack of any side metal frames makes it rather suspicious so, we'd say nice renders kid, but this probably isn't the Mate 10 Porsche Design.

While we previously covered Huawei Mate 10 pricing direct from Huawei as being below RM3K, news of rising component costs has hinted that the Huawei Mate 10 could be priced at 599 euros (~RM2998). The Mate 10 Pro on the other hand might see a jump as high as 799 euros (about RM4000). Tech specs like the Kirin 970 processor with dedicated Artificial Intelligence Neural Processing Unit, 6.2-inch bezel-free display, a 3D front lens for face unlocking, Leica dual rear cameras and a 4000 mAh battery are expected to remain the same though.

Yesterday we showed you a render concept video of the Huawei Mate 10, while it looks nice and all, it's not as good as the real thing. Well, we got ourselves some leak shots of the Mate 10's EntireView display. Some of you might have already seen the panel, but not the one that's turned on with apps in it.

Counterpoint Research recently revealed that Huawei have surpassed Apple as the 2nd largest smartphone brand in the world. While quite a few tech sites out there are saying this is the sign of Apple's impending doom, is it really the turning point Huawei is hoping for? Reading closer into the research reveals that this is probably just a milestone, a significant one showing just how far Huawei has grown, but even though the upcoming Huawei Mate 10 has yet to be announced, these researchers say that this rise "...could be temporary considering the annual iPhone refresh is just around the corner...".
