As we near the global launch of the Huawei P30 series on 26 March 2019, Huawei Malaysia have confirmed that Malaysians will get the previously revealed Huawei Backup dual charger + 1TB external hard disk drive device worth ~RM425. While they haven't confirmed if we'll also be getting the Huawei Watch GT Active Edition and JBL Clip 2 Bluetooth speaker, they have hinted that Malaysians could also get the P30 series the same date as Singaporeans, which is 6 April 2019.

The Huawei P30 series launch will be happening tomorrow on the 26 March 2019 at 9PM(GMT+8), which will be taking place in Paris, France. That being said, many of you will surely question as to where can you catch the live stream of the launch itself.Thankfully, Huawei has passed us links to their official livestreams which will be happening on Facebook, Youtube as well as Twitter simultaneously. As far as what we know, the P30 Pro which is the flagship of the P30 series is expected to come with various photography improvements which feature up to 50X zoom and up to 409600 ISO and more.

We have gotten news that the Huawei P30 series could be available in Malaysia starting 6 April 2019, same time as Singapore. Unfortunately, there was no mention regarding the official price of the devices to be launched. That being said, those who are keen on getting the Huawei P30 series as soon as it launches locally could be awarded with the Huawei Backup which in an external 1TB hard drive that can be used to charge your phone and back-up data at the same time. Not only that, the P30 could be available in more locations during first day of sale.

Just a day or so more until the official launch of the Huawei P30 series and here's another look at the finer details it can capture with its powerful zoom-in capabilities. Just a week before the official Huawei P30 series launch in Paris on 26 March 2019 and another massive leak has appeared, this time from leakster Teme or @RODENT950 who says that an upcoming Huawei P30 smartphone (probably the P30 Pro) will have 50X maximum zoom (digital) and 409600 ISO. Other bits of new info he revealed also include that the new sensor being used is the Sony IMX 650 with a Quad Bayer RYYB (Red, Yellow, Yellow, Blue) colour layout which should mean even more powerful low-light performance.

Amazon Italy accidentally leaked out the pre-order price of the Huawei P30 Pro not too long ago, starting from the price of 1024 Euros(~RM4725). The listing, which was quickly taken down, also revealed what could be the tech specs and features that the device will come shipped with.

There are a couple of Huawei P30 series leaks here and there, but there are just mostly about the zoom-in photos taken at someone's wedding and in a concert. So we have been posting some news about the Huawei P30 photo capabilties this week. Anyone who has tried taking photos with their smartphones from the back in a dark concert hall will tell you, most of the time, pictures don't end up very well. However, leaked camera samples from what appears to be their upcoming Huawei P30 series, have revealed just how powerful their zoom is from a normal seat at a Blue concert. The pictures seem to be composites of three pictures, one in normal zoom, one in the highest lossless zoom and one in the maximum zoom (probably using digital).
