For those who don’t know yet, Huawei’s own OS based on Android, EMUI 5.0 is now available on five more Huawei devices. The devices are the Huawei P9, P9 Plus , P9 Lite , Mate 8 and Nova Plus. Updates can be found via settings and downloaded Over-the-Air (OTA) now.

Being one of the most hyped camera smartphones in early 2017, Huawei actually did a pretty good job improving their latest flagship with the Huawei P10. Just like its predecessor, the Huawei P9, the highlight is still on their dual camera setup engineered by Leica. But it is now slightly upgraded to 20MP from 12MP and Leica expanded their collaboration with Huawei by using Leica lens and colour sensor on the Huawei P10's front facing camera as well. The official Samsung Exynos twitter recently tweeted a teaser image highlighting Dual ISP (Image Signal Processor) for their Exynos 9 chipset, indicating dual rear cameras. The Exynos 8895 is also part of this chipset and is slated to be used in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 Plus (set to be announced near the end of the month). So does that mean that the Galaxy S8 could have surprise dual rear cameras, which so far according to all other leaks has not appeared at all? It might happen, but we're thinking that the Dual ISP and dual cameras would probably be coming for the Galaxy Note 8 as it would help differentiate it from the iris scanner packing Galaxy S8.

GSMA have announced that the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has been awarded the Best Smartphone 2016 for this year's MWC 2017. Previously named the best smartphone for last year's MWC, this year the Galaxy S7 edge went up against the Huawei P9, Apple iPhone 7 Plus, Google Pixel XL and Moto Z.
