Not only Lenovo announced a slew of mobile productivity devices, they also launched new smartphones at IFA 2016. The headliner is the new Lenovo K6 family, which includes the K6, K6 Power and K6 Note. It is followed by the A Plus as well as the P2, the successor the Vibe P1.

Announced at IFA 2016, the new Alcatel MoveTime Wifi is a device that is both a watch, and connects to your smartphone. It also connects to WiFi hotspots for data collection and notifications.

Looks like the biggest news of the week came in at the last moment as Samsung officially recalled the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 over a faulty sometimes exploding battery. It wasn't the only one suspended as Google also stopped work on their Project Ara modular smartphone.

At IFA 2016 in Berlin, Sony has unveiled their new flagship smartphone, as well as a return of an old favourite. The new Xperia XZ is the new headliner of the Xperia lineup, while the Xperia X Compact brings back the small form factor smartphone to the fore again. The Xperia XZ and X Compact promise a whole set of stunning features, plus a much needed design refresh.

We just saw the ZTE Axon 7 launched in Malaysia, which you can read all about it right here. At the same time of the launch, ZTE also announced the smaller sibling of the flagship – the Axon 7 Mini – at IFA 2016.

IFA 2016 is on its way, running in Berlin. Big name manufacturers are on site and on stage announcing new products that is set to be heading to our shores soon. Lenovo has announced several new products at IFA 2016, ranging from svelte, thin and just out of this world. The new devices include the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus, Lenovo Miix 510 2-in-1, and the Lenovo Yoga Book.

A solution that not many people have but is still important – especially for mobile warriors – is not having an additional display for your laptop. The new ASUS ZenScreen is their solution, being the world’s lightest portable monitor – tipping the scales at only 800 grams.

It is not surprise that Samsung is still coming out with new smartwatchs in their Gear series. What is surprising however is that the new Gear S3 is not a replacement, but a parallel model to the older Gear S2. Featuring the same great rotating bezel, an all-new design and many more enhancements – the Gear S3 is set to add more value to the Tizen smartwatch market.

The next family member of the Motorola Moto Z family has officially been announced at IFA 2016, and alongside the much-awaited Moto Z Play is the newest Moto Mod – the Hasselblad True Zoom.

IFA 2016 Berlin is upon us, and we are expecting many manufacturers to announce new products during the week-long event. Traditionally manufacturers have their events before the IFA trade show itself, and Sony is following the trend as they are geared to announce new stuff on September 1st , just before IFA.
