It was only a few years ago when Lenovo went into the gaming category with the brand name Legion. Today, the name Legion is one of the most popular PC gaming brands around the world. Now, with the immerse of gaming smartphone, Lenovo has expanded the Legion branding into gaming smartphones with the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel. 

It was only a few years ago when Lenovo expanded into the gaming category. Branding it as Legion, it is now one of the most popular PC gaming brands around the world and surprise, surprise, Lenovo decided to make a move into the mobile gaming industry with the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel. 

From a business point of view, it makes sense for Lenovo to tap into the market because of how well mobile gaming is going. However, it would surely face tough competition from existing gaming phones with the likes of the ASUS ROG Phone series and the Black Shark series. Today, a transparent Lenovo Legion Phone Duel appeared at a Lenovo Innovation and Technology Conference not too long ago and it looks badass. This transparent edition has no price announced yet but in terms of tech specs and features, it's the same one that was introduced months ago but not with our local version.

Lenovo Malaysia has officially announced that you can now pre-order the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel from today onwards on either the Lenovo official website or authorized dealers from the price of RM3399. But that’s not all, those who managed to pre-order the aforementioned smartphone before 13 December 2020 will be eligible for a free Lenovo Legion G500 Pro 7.1 headset worth RM329.

Last week, Lenovo Malaysia confirmed that the Legion Phone Duel would be coming here. Today, the company launched the phone in Malaysia and confirmed that we will be getting it on 26 October 2020. It will be available in Vengeance Red and Blazing Blue colours via the Lenovo Malaysia website or participating partners.

When Lenovo unveiled its gaming phone back in July, it showed an interesting design and we were hoping it would quickly launch in Malaysia. It's taken some time, but a local retailer spilt the beans last month and mentioned it the Legion Phone Duel would be arriving in October 2020.

When the ASUS ROG Phone 3 was announced back in July, Lenovo also did their own livestream event on the same day revealing the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel gaming smartphone. According to our local retailer, DirectD, they announced that it's coming soon in October 2020.
