Yesterday, MediaTek had launched its first 6nm chipsets that are the Dimenisty 1200 and Dimensity 1100. At the same time, realme announced that it is launching a flagship with the Dimensity 1200. Today, it is confirmed that Redmi will also become one of the first smartphone manufacturers to launch a device with the latest flagship chipset as well.

At last night's Apple Event, the tech giant has taken the lead to bring the first 5nm process which is the A14 Bionic chipset to the market. To not be left behind the race, Redmi's General Manager Lu Weibing publicly asked if the consumers are excited about their new products with a 5nm process too. Now, realme's Vice President Xu Qi has voiced out regarding the latest technology as well by hinting that the company is preparing a flagship to come with the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chipset.

The highest fast charge capacity currently sits at 65W, and many companies are aiming to launch devices that are capable to support more than 100W. Earlier, Xiaomi demonstrated their 100W fast-charging solution that is able to fully charge a 4,000mAh battery in just 17 minutes. Now, it is rumoured that the technology will appear on a Black Shark phone.
