Maxis has announced that they have connected Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman Sungai Long as well as Kampar campus-wide with 1GB high-speed internet through the use of Maxis’ very own Internet Protocol Metro Area Network, along with 4G LTE connectivity around the area as well.

Over the past few days, there were quite a few smartphone launches. First, the OPPO Reno was announced for RM1999 in Malaysia (a bit expensive, tbh), then came along the ASUS ZenFone 6 with a rather odd Flipping Camera in Valencia starting from ~RM2328, the OnePlus 7 Pro was also launched in Malaysia from RM2999 (no longer the flagship killer, I suppose) and finally, the HONOR 20 series was revealed in London with an affordable price of RM1699 for us. Sweet. 

Today, Maxis has unveiled a brand new concept store at The Gardens Mid Valley. This is actually a first of its kind concept store that infuses a new design language for a more personalized digital experience, with an engaging and rewarding interaction for the customers.

In conjunction with Maxis Fibrenation introducing their new highspeed fibre plans of up to 800Mbps, Maxis themselves has released several short documentaries on how technologies have changed their lives for the benefit of others and themselves.

How are y'all doing? This week is Marvel's Avengers Endgame week and the whole world is going crazy about it. In conjunction with the most anticipated movie release of the year, OPPO has collaborated with Marvel to make an awesome OPPO F11 Pro Marvel's Avenger Limited Edition! There isn't much different from the standard F11 Pro, except that it has a 128GB storage and for just RM1399, it's a deal breaker. 

Remember when we wrote about a leaked image which stats that Maxis will be offering faster internet speeds? Well, apparently it is true as Maxis has recently announced that they will officially be offering new Maxis Fibre Subscription plans for Home and Business customers, with speeds of up to 800Mbps with prices starting from as low as RM129 a month.

Maxis is always working on improving its users’ experience. In order to continue doing that, Maxis will be having a system upgrading exercise in two phases for its Hotlink Prepaid service and one of them will be happening today, 22nd of April.

An image has been leaked, showing contents on what could be the new Maxis Fibre Plans which are due to be announced sometime next week according to Amanz.my.

Earlier today, telco companies such as Celcom, Maxis, U Mobile, DiGi and more have showcased their 5G solutions in Putrajaya earlier today. At the test bed, many of the telcos gave a brief introduction to the 5G technology as well as the benefits that this new network will bring such as higher bandwidth with speeds of up to or even more than 1.6Gbps, lower latency, greater stability, better reception in a crowded area and so on. The network has also been used to conduct a remote brain surgery, in which the surgeon and the patient were more than 3000km apart.

Opensignal is back with their Mobile Network Experience Report for April 2019 and this time Maxis and Celcom are vying for the top spot with each retaining clear positions like Download Speed Experience (Maxis) and 4G Availability (Celcom). Both are neck and neck in Video Experience though while Maxis retains best Latency Experience and Celcom achieves best Upload Speed experience, for a draw for top spot.
