After Facebook changed its name to Meta to tell us how much the company cares about Metaverse, Microsoft soon jumped on the bandwagon by announcing Mesh as its own take on the technology concept. For the latter, it focuses on building an interactive platform for virtual experiences inside Microsoft Teams.

4K gaming is basically a must-have spec in the new generation of gaming consoles. Besides that, Microsoft is bringing its Xbox Series X / S consoles to the next level for visual by introducing Dolby Vision gaming support. Microsoft claims that the feature should result in "brighter highlights, sharper contrast, and more vibrant colours."

Last year, it was reported that HONOR had signed a global cooperation agreement with Microsoft to use Windows 10 as the official operating system in its 2021 laptops. Until now, the Chinese brand announces that it has signed a new strategic cooperation with the US company and will be one of the first laptop makers to release a Windows 11 pre-installed machine.

On 5 October, the latest Windows update will roll out and offer several new features and functionalities to users. Windows 11 will bring Microsoft Teams integration, a new design with an updated Start menu, Snap Layouts, Groups, Desktops for improved multitasking, an improved Microsoft Store app, and Android app support. Now, there might be a new thing to be excited about after the company acquired a browser-based video editing tool, Clipchamp.

Over the weekend, tech giants with the likes of Facebook, Google, Microsoft and Amazon have sent a letter to meet our latest Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob regarding Malaysia's cabotage policy. You might be disappointed hearing this one, but still, Microsoft won't include Android app support at the launch of Windows 11 on 5 October. The feature is probably one of the highly-anticipated ones from the upcoming operating system update. However, Microsoft's spokesperson has somehow hinted that it won't arrive until 2022.
