At the end of September 2020, Lenovo announced that its fancy new ThinkPad X1 Fold would be coming to Malaysia. But that probably won't be the only laptop with a foldable display we'll be seeing. In fact, a new report claims that Intel, Microsoft, and Samsung will be working together to make more laptops like that.

Like it or hate it, Microsoft will continue to throw us Windows updates when we least want it. But today we're here to give you some early warning. Microsoft is starting to roll out the latest Windows 10 update and it's going to come with a few new features. Look out for it or your PC might restart when you don't expect it to!

A few weeks ago, it revealed that Microsoft was beta testing a new update to the Xbox app for iOS. If all went well, Xbox One owners will be able to access new features on their mobile devices. Now, the app is publically available on the Apple App Store for iPads or iPhones.

It seems that a user on Instagram recently made a video post, showcasing how it’s possible to play Doom Eternal on the Samsung smart fridge. This is due to the fact that the user has managed to get Microsoft’s xCloud service running on the aforementioned product, which means that it is possible to play other Xbox games as well.

It looks like the current pandemic has shifted the view of some companies and Microsoft is one of them. Now, the tech giant is allowing its emloyees to work from home permanently. The company has unveiled the “hybrid workplace” guidance internally to allow for greater flexibility once the US offices eventually reopen in January 2021 at the earliest.

When it comes to more mobile devices, we're starting to see a lot of them with ARM-based chipsets. Some PC manufacturers may have thought about more compact Windows devices that use ARM processors but didn't go ahead with the plan due to poor support for 64-bit apps. Now, it looks like Microsoft has a plan to fix that.

As far as Microsoft is concerned, the launch of its Xbox Series X next-gen console in November 2020 isn't the only part of its gaming business strategy. The company is banking a lot on its Xbox Game Pass and the xCloud games streaming platform to bring players in. But while xCloud isn't available on iOS, Apple may approve the new Xbox app for iOS.

So this just came in, from Bethesda.net's website has officially confirmed that Microsoft has acquired Zenimax Media, which is the parent company of Bethesda Softworks, id Software and other affiliated gaming studios for a whopping $7.5 billion. That's right, that means popular game titles such as Doom, Fallout, The Elder Scrolls, Dishonored, Wolfenstein and others now belong to Microsoft.

Right after US President's executive order on banning TikTok, it was also reported that Microsoft was interested in acquiring the company from ByteDance. After a few weeks, we had to wait if the acquisition was successful or not but it turned out that Microsoft is no longer acquiring TikTok due to the rejection by ByteDance.

It seems that Google has recently pushed out an update for Google Docs, Google Slides, as well as Google Sheets, allowing users to edit the files from Microsoft Office without the need to convert the files. Not only that, but Google also allows users to seamlessly collaborate and work on the same document in real-time.
