On 5 October, the latest Windows update will roll out and offer several new features and functionalities to users. Windows 11 will bring Microsoft Teams integration, a new design with an updated Start menu, Snap Layouts, Groups, Desktops for improved multitasking, an improved Microsoft Store app, and Android app support. Now, there might be a new thing to be excited about after the company acquired a browser-based video editing tool, Clipchamp.

Over the weekend, tech giants with the likes of Facebook, Google, Microsoft and Amazon have sent a letter to meet our latest Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob regarding Malaysia's cabotage policy. During Microsoft's E3 conference, it was confirmed that the Halo Infinite will launch in Holiday 2021. Earlier, the first technical preview has also taken place from July 29 until August 1. Until now, rumour has it that Halo Infinite could include a battle royale multiplayer mode after a voice clip of announcer Jeff Stitzer yelling "Battle Royale" was leaked.

Microsoft's latest operating system update, Windows 11, was announced not long ago and will be coming in late 2021. The update is bringing many useful key features including a Mac-like interface, better Android smartphone integration, and better virtual desktop support. Thanks to Intel, we might already be able to know when the operating system update is being rolled out.

Last week, Microsoft released a set of tech specs requirements for your laptop or PC to be eligible for the Windows 11 upgrade. Not only that, they sent us a PC Health Check app for that too but it seems that they are temporarily removing the app due to the feedback from users.

Windows 11 was one of the highlights last week but the beta is not ready yet. According to Microsoft, the public beta will only be ready next month but if you are part of the Windows Insiders program, the Windows 11 preview build (22000.51) is rolling out now.

As we mentioned earlier today, users who purchase a new laptop or PC in the future or those who already have a licensed Windows 10 will be able to upgrade to Windows 11. You can check whether your device is eligible or not here, but we also found out that a couple of Microsoft Surface devices won't be upgradeable.
