Today, OPPO Malaysia has finally revealed the OPPO Reno smartphone in Malaysia. Slated at the price of RM1999, the pre-order for the device will start tomorrow (17 May) as mentioned from a few days ago and customers can collect it on 28 May 2019 with a free Smart Battery Case, an extended one-year warranty and a screen protector.

If you are around Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, you probably saw a nice artwork setup station by OPPO Malaysia. Designed by architectural designer, Pamela Tan, she used 2000 OPPO Reno phones just to spell out RENO. We’ve been teased about the OPPO Reno series for quite some time now and finally they are making their way to Malaysian shores. The Reno series will be launching in two variants here with the OPPO Reno being announced tomorrow.

We already knew that the OPPO Reno will make its way to Malaysia, but the question is which date. Well, OPPO Malaysia has answered our question and according to their PR news, the latest smartphone will be unveiled on 16 May 2019.

OPPO Reno was recently launched globally in 3 variants: The OPPO Reno, OPPO Reno 10x zoom and OPPO Reno 5G. The smartphone series is expected to hit Malaysian shores soon.

The infamous baby shark phones famous for their interesting pop up camera mechanism has been launched worldwide - specifically the OPPO Reno, OPPO Reno 10x zoom and OPPO Reno 5G.

The OPPO Reno has been officially released in Shanghai, China starting from RMB2999(~RM1832) and it is available in two different variants which are the OPPO Reno Standard Edition, and the OPPO Reno 10x Hybrid Lossless Zoom Edition.

 We’ve a little over a week away before the OPPO Reno launch on the 10th of April. Official renders of the device appeared from a Chinese retail website called JD.com, showing off the smartphone in 4 different colours.

We had an idea that the OPPO Reno may feature a pop up camera as we have seen the device leaked showing off a completely bezel-less display but we weren’t sure how it may be implemented. A leaked hands on video surfaced this morning, showing off a triangular pop up selfie camera on the OPPO Reno.

OPPO’s Vice President, Shen Yiren, has always shared a lot when it came to the OPPO Reno. This time, he shared that the OPPO Reno may come with OPPO’s brand new VOOC 3.0 charging which is 23.8% faster than its predecessor in contrary to rumours of it having 50W fast charging.
