Both the OnePlus X and BlackBerry Classic have officially been discontinued. With no plans in the works for a successor, it looks like the OnePlus X is dead in the water after only 7 months availability. The BlackBerry Classic may have had a longer run of 18 months, but it also looks like BlackBerry is trimming down their product lines.

It’s official, OnePlus has put the rumours to rest by announcing the OnePlus X for $249 (RM 1078.80) or $269 (RM 1165.46). In case you’re wondering why there are two different prices, that’s because there are two OnePlus X models: The Onyx and the Ceramic version. The difference? Onyx’s back is a sheet of black glass, while the Ceramic has the same but the material is more premium. Nonetheless, both models possess the same tech specs:-
- Snapdragon 801 processor
- 3GB RAM
- 16GB internal storage with 128GB microSD space
- 5-inch Full HD AMOLED
- 13MP camera and a 8MP selfie camera
- OnePlus Radio
- Dual SIM cards slots
- OxygenOS
- 2525 mAh battery

According to Weibo, the upcoming OnePlus X will cost RMB 1699 (RM1143.61). Of course, that price is for China only and it may vary when it goes international. Tech specs listed in the Chinese website include a:-
- Qualcomm's Snapdragon 801 SoC
- 3GB RAM
- 16 or 32GB storage
- 5-inch 1080p touchscreen
- 13MP main camera and 5MP front camera
