It seems that there might be a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE variant coming soon that’s equipped with the Snapdragon 865 chipset but only supports up to 4G. While not much is known in regards to the Malaysia release date, it does give us a better idea of what to expect when it is available in the local market.

Here, we found that the new Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (Fan Edition) with the model number SM-G780G is coming soon because it appeared on the Wi-Fi Alliance and Thailand's NBTC. The previous Galaxy S20 FE comes in two variants which are the LTE variant (SM-G780F) and 5G variant (SM-G781B).

It's also worth mentioning that the camera setup for the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G is vastly different from its Ultra counterpart. The Galaxy Note20 Ultra uses a 108MP quad rear camera setup, whereas the former has a 12MP (main) + 8MP (telephoto) + 12MP (ultrawide) triple rear camera setup. But is it inferior because of the lower megapixel count?
