The Samsung Galaxy S8 (RRP RM3299) and Galaxy S8 Plus (RRP RM 3699) pre-order went live on Tuesday and all 7000 pre-orders have been snapped up despite it being the largest amount of Samsung Galaxy preorders yet (the Galaxy S7 was 1000 followed up by another 2000). The pre-orders came with freebies worth RM900 including a Limited Edition Starter kit (clear cover, screen protector, wireless charger stand, USB Type-C cable) + 5100 mAh battery pack + Samsung Protection Plus (1-year screen crack protection, 1-time replacement over 12 months, 1-year extended warranty) plan. Proving that price isn't a barrier to the demand for the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, if demand continues we expect Samsung Malaysia to either announce a new batch of pre-orders in a bit or set up another pre-order with different freebies included.
