If you don't know DxOMark, they are a group that specializes in reviewing, testing and grading smartphone cameras. And if you're a smartphone enthusiast, you would probably have come across its name for giving scores on newly release smartphones but it seems that they are introducing a U.S.-only ranking.

It was just a few weeks ago when we heard of rumours about an Exynos 1000 chipset, which will be used for next year's Samsung Galaxy S21 series. But is that the chipset that will bring them back into relevance? We're not too sure about that yet, but there's another rumour about the new chipset manufactured on a 5nm fabrication process.

We have reported that Samsung just bought the company Harman recently, which is part of Samsung’s push into the automotive electronics sector. However the company also now holds the brand rights to the Harman stable of audio peripherals – and a recent press conference between the two company has listed out the direction Samsung will take for the audio specialist.

The Samsung fingerprint scanner cum home button has been in place since the Samsung Galaxy S5 was introduced, and the shape and design has been maintained ever since. However a new patent spotted online may change everything as the company may change the shape into a circle, ala Apple iPhones.

A tweet posted by @Ricciolo1 was spotted online claiming a Samsung Unpacked 2016 event next year on 21 February in Barcelona hinting a Samsung Galaxy S7 reveal, while a different Tweeter source released some pictures of the successors to the Samsung Galaxy A3 and Samsung Galaxy A5 online.

According to Weibo, there are rumours going around that analyst Pan Jiutang was heard to be saying Samsung is considering a 10% discount on the Samsung Galaxy 7 when it debuts next year. 

Recalling the past, Samsung did the same strategy for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge by cutting 10% too, and it seems to be a good marketing strategy for the group in their last quarter which ended on a positive financial note thanks to the good sales of flagship devices. On the other hand, they’re doing this to also keep themselves in the competition with various Chinese smartphone manufacturers heating up price wars in retail and online channels.

Samsung Malaysia recently revealed that their latest Samsung Galaxy Note 5 phablet is now available in four colours including black sapphire and silver titanium. In addition to this, they also revealed that the S-Pen powered phablet will also be available for trade-in at various roadshows. While the first roadshow already finished at Putrajaya, the next slew of roadshows are expected to start from 15 October 2015 to 1 November 2015. Also in addition, Samsung Malaysia and Ingram Micro are also offering trade-in discounts both for your older Samsung Galaxy Note phablets along with other smartphones, with the actual price to be evaluated by Ingram Micro staff on site. It has only been recently that the Samsung Galaxy Note phablets have started looking better than just oversized slate smartphones with built-in styluses, but even the previous Galaxy Note 4 wasn't the most fashionable phablet around.
