Samsung hit no.1 again and this is the company's 9th time winning in a row, they have been rated as the most popular brand in Asia. A report had shown that among the 1000 electronic companies in the rank, Samsung is the first choice based on consumer insights. 

Now, it is time for us to guess the name of Samsung's upcoming device. Earlier, the device has been reported that it will be called Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition and some of its tech specs were leaked as well. However, a Geekbench test of the device has surfaced on the Internet today and people are now calling it Samsung Galaxy S20 Lite.

As reported earlier, Samsung will not produce LCD anymore after 2020. The company will cease the production of LCD and focus on other display technologies. However, it looks like the Korean tech giant is not going to stop providing LCD products, as they are planning to buy display panels from LG Display.

As the Samsung Unpacked event draws closer, we're getting more info on upcoming products. A new one that's appeared lately could be a new smart band from the company. Sources claim that a new Samsung wearable was spotted on the US FCC and it could be a fitness tracker.

Other than Apple, it looks like an Android smartphone manufacturer will also be following the footsteps by excluding the in-box chargers in the future. It turns out that Samsung has also reportedly decided to ship their future smartphones without chargers, and they might be planning to execute it as early as next year.

We know that Samsung is set to host an online-only Samsung Unpacked on 5 August 2020, where the company will unveil a variety of new products. The Galaxy Tab S7 series is probably one of them, but it may not be the only one. Recently, a new tablet was discovered and we believed that it could be a mid-range option.

It seems that a promo video of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 has been spotted on Twitter, which gives us a good idea on what to expect when the watch is officially unveiled presumably on 5 August 2020. While not much is known about the watch, our source did mention that it will most likely be available in 41mm and 45mm variants.

For those familiar with mobile devices, you'll often see the terms 7nm or 5nm. These are the process nodes that chip makers have to manufacture components like mobile chipsets. For Samsung, new reports claim that Samsung could be looking to skip the 4nm process and go straight for 3nm in other to beat TSMC to the punch.

In August, we will probably get to see Samsung's next-generation foldable smartphones at the UNPACKED event.
