Following the recent iF Design Awards a few days ago, Sony is proud to announce that 18 of their products have been honoured with 3 prestigious gold awards, which are the PS-HX500 turntable, Future Lab Program T Interactive Projector and PlayStation VR (PS VR) virtual reality system for PlayStation 4, from Sony Interactive Entertainment  (SIE). Below are some of the comments from the judges on the products and a full list of the products recognised with awards.

The launch for the Sony Xperia XA and XA Ultra in Malaysia was less than half a year ago, and now the company has announced that they will be giving some price cuts on the two large phablets from the land of the rising sun. We have reviewed the Xperia XA before – check it out here.

Back in February when Sony shockingly announced the cancellation of their Xperia Z series, they decided to show us their new X series lineup - the Sony Xperia XA, Xperia X and Xperia XA Ultra (some other countries got the Xperia X Performance instead of XA Ultra). In our review here, we will be exploring the Xperia XA, which is the smallest and currently most affordable among the three brothers (recently launched in Malaysia about 2 days ago for RM1199). Starting 22 June until 17 July 2016, Sony Mobile Communications have announced “Celebrate Raya With New Xperia X Series” promotion that is in conjunction with the Holy Month of Ramadan celebrations. During this period, consumers who purchase the newly announced Xperia X and Xperia XA smartphones are entitled to exclusive free gift redemptions.

The Sony Xperia X, Xperia XA and Xperia XA Ultra smartphones were recently launched in Malaysia for RM2499, RM1199 and RM1699 respectively. Sony Mobile Communications (Sony Mobile) have just launched their Sony Xperia X, Xperia XA and Xperia XA Ultra smartphones for Malaysia for RM2499, RM1199 and RM1699 respectively. The Xperia X and XA will be available nationwide from 22 June 2016 and 27 June 2016 respectively but the Xperia X is already available on pre-order at the Sony site. The larger Xperia XA Ultra will be available from July 2016.

Recently Sony released an unlisted official video of the latest Sony Xperia X, praising its 23MP rear camera with Predictive Hybrid Autofocus. Both the Xperia X and Xperia X Performance will feature that very camera when they are released. The new Sony Xperia line starts from the Xperia X, Xperia X Performance and Xperia XA but will soon be available in the US in June. No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet though.
