One of the most popular e-wallet platform in Malaysia, the Touch ‘n Go eWallet app has mysteriously vanished from the Apple App Store. As of the time of writing, the listing for the app can’t be found in the App Store, though those that have downloaded the app in the past can still open and re-download it from their Apple devices.

For those unaware, the government is considering switching the tolls in Malaysia to fully cashless. The plan is to phase out Touch 'n Go and cash payments for RFID payments. However, things haven't been too smooth.

E-Wallets offered by Touch ‘n Go, Grab, as well as Boost started giving out the RM30 E-Tunai Rakyat from today onwards until 14 March 2020. Malaysians who earn below RM100000 a year and are above 18 years old, will be able to claim the RM30 from one of the platforms mentioned.

Touch 'n Go is probably one of the more commonly used e-wallet this year. Its Street Parking feature can be a very useful feature, though many lamented that it could only be used in certain Kuala Lumpur and Kelantan areas. That's going to change now that the company has announced more areas under three jurisdictions.

Touch N’ Go in collaboration with Singapore’s EZ-Link, has announced that they both have signed an agreement in which they will be partnering up to develop the Combi Card which enables the consumer to perform electronic payments to services such as tolls, parking, shopping as well as dining in both countries. The aforementioned card, is expected to be available to the consumer starting Q4 of 2019.
