Do you live in Perak and love Xiaomi? Well, great news to you all. SNS Network (M) Sdn Bhd has opened the first authorized Mi Store in Perak. Located in the heart of Ipoh (Ipoh Parade Shopping Mall, to be exact), the residents there can now check out the latest Mi devices, accessories and so many more!

Hey Xiaomi fans, MIUI 10 is coming upon us and the company just released a scheduled date for all Mi devices to receive an Over-The-Air (OTA) update soon. Since 29 June 2018, the Mi series such as the Mi 8, Mi 8 SE, Mi Mix 2S, Mi Mix 2, Mi Mix, Mi 6X, Mi 5 and Mi Note have gotten the update. The following update will be for the Redmi series in July this month.

Xiaomi or Mi Malaysia recently revealed that you can get the ceramic Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 8GB RAM + 128GB storage for RM2299 (original RRP - RM2699) or the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage version for RM1699 (original RRP - RM1999). Available on their official Lazada store, the Mi Mix 2 offers a 4-axis OIS rear camera along with a still flagship-level Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset and more.

The metal framed and ceramic backed Xiaomi  Mi Mix 2s got officially announced today for 3299 CNY (~RM2037) with 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 3599 CNY (~RM2223) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version and 3999 CNY (~RM2470) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage version (which also comes with a free wireless charger).

After the single major design flaw of the front camera on the concept smartphones that were the Xiaomi Mi Mix and Mi Mix 2, a new leaked poster of the Mi Mix 2s has appeared. In it, it shows a full view edge-to-edge display with a single front camera in the top right corner making it just right for selfies.

When we reviewed the OnePlus 5 last year, it was dubbed as the flagship killer for a few good reasons and good specifications at a reasonable price. Comparing it with the iPhone 7 Plus (before the 8 and X were released), we think the former is definitely more worth it. Then after that, the OnePlus 5T was revealed coming with an 18:9 aspect ratio body for RM2388. So Xiaomi Malaysia has officially opened their first Authorized Mi Store in Suria KLCC on level 3. Although the store has been around for a few weeks already, it's only today that the special grand launching ceremony was held. In addition, the Mi Mix 2 and Redmi Note 5A Prime also made an appearance at the store and both models will be coming soon into the Malaysia market.
