Good news for Xiaomi fans everywhere, MIUI 9 Global ROM 7.9.7 update is now live and the third batch of Xiaomi smartphones are now eligible to download it which you can get it from Xiaomi's forum thread here. Below is the list the third batch that can be updated:

So get this, apparently tomorrow on 11 July 2017 - Xiaomi will be revealing a new device in China. As confirmed in their official Weibo account, the device will come with a 6GB RAM, so what phone could it be?

Today, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has landed in Malaysia for RM2499 only. As previously teased by Xiaomi Malaysia, the Mi Note 2 for Malaysia is a global edition packing beautiful dual curve display, along with huge tech-specs for the people who like it big. Below is the official specification:

Xiaomi Mi 6 may not be coming to Malaysia, but you can still get an imported version of the phone. That being said, someone just took the liberty of designing a render concept of the anticipated flagship, giving us a glimpse of how it might look like based on rumours.  

Last year, when Xiaomi released the Mi Note 2 it came with a curved OLED display giving a new look among all the Xiaomi phones. However, it seems that the company is planning to release another Mi Note 2 variant, as this was spotted and certified on TENAA website.

It's been almost two months then when Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, known for its beautiful dual-curved OLED display, along with a big 6GB RAM and a 22MP Sony camera at the back. Xiaomi fans were hoping to see a flat screen variant with a lower price tag but look like that's not going to happen.

While the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has been on sale for about 2 weeks now, a new entry in TENAA has suggested that there will be a new Mi Note 2 variant, which is rumoured to be a non-curved display model.

Last week saw the official refresh of the long awaited Apple MacBook Pro with a faddish "new" feature while Microsoft announced their Surface Studio, Surface Dial and Surface Book. However, the biggest news of the week was probably the announcement of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and their first unique looking smartphone, the fully ceramic Mi MIX alongside their Mi VR headset.

Not so impressed by the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 or Mi VR? Well, Xiaomi continued to push boundaries with their fully ceramic Mi MIX concept smartphone utilizing a single block of ceramic and edge-to-edge display. Designed in collaboration with designer Philipe Starck, the front camera has been moved to the bottom and a number of sensors have been updated to work with the new fully ceramic build.
