Recently, DeepMind has recently mentioned that their AlphaStar AI is better than 99.8% of the player base on Battle.net. In addition to that, but AlphaStar AI also managed win most of its match against professional Starcraft players who have been playing the game for more than a decade. The way DeepMind has managed to achieve this feat is by mimicking professional Starcraft players, as well as utilizing the reinforcement training in order to make AI learning more efficient.
