These days, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is doing a lot of work. From excelling in video games to detecting cancers, there is almost nothing the technology can’t do. Now, Warner Bros. Pictures has decided to let AI choose what movies we get to watch as well. The film production company is working with an AI company named Cinelytic to predict what films it’s going to make.

Google’s DeepMind is not only trained to beat humans in various computer games like what we’ve heard earlier. It turns out the Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be a great contribution to the healthcare industry too. Recently, the AI has ‘beaten’ the doctors by spotting breast cancer more accurately.

In the next big Google Search update, the company plans to make looking through news and stories easier. By applying the latest in machine learning technology to top stories, Google should be able to make it so that relevant stories are group together.

Recently, DeepMind has recently mentioned that their AlphaStar AI is better than 99.8% of the player base on Battle.net. In addition to that, but AlphaStar AI also managed win most of its match against professional Starcraft players who have been playing the game for more than a decade. The way DeepMind has managed to achieve this feat is by mimicking professional Starcraft players, as well as utilizing the reinforcement training in order to make AI learning more efficient.

Samsung has announced that they will be unveiling their 108MP ISOCELL image sensor, on the 12 August 2019. The new image sensor is capable of producing images up to 12032 x 9024 in resolution, which is substantially more compared to the current industry standard of 64MP sensor. 

Not only we have seen Nokia coming out with their new smartphones (the Nokia 6 and the upcoming Nokia E1), a new report says that the company may be dabbling into the world of AI assistants. A new applied  trademark by the company may shed some clues on the company’s future plans in the mobile space.
