Apple entering the car business is not the latest news anymore as the rumours have been roaming around for years. Earlier, it was reported that the tech giant has finally taken the first step by choosing Hyundai as a partner for car production. Now, the deal might be closed soon as Apple is reportedly going to invest 3.6 billion USD (~RM14 billion) in Hyundai's subsidiary Kia.

Earlier, it was reported that the tech giant has finally taken the first step by choosing Hyundai as a partner for car production. Now, the deal might be closed soon as Apple is reportedly going to invest 3.6 billion USD (~RM14 billion) in Hyundai's subsidiary Kia.

For those who are unaware, Apple Arcade has been available in Malaysia since late 2019. While not limited, its list of supported controllers isn't extensive either. Fortunately, the developer beta for iOS 14.5 brings support for new console controllers.

With the recent iOS 14.3 update, the 14.5 beta version is currently underway. Most of the time, iOS versions have a few exciting things to look forward to but 14.5 says otherwise. From the sources, the new update may come with a Face Unlock while wearing a mask, adding gaming controller support and enabling 5G connectivity in dual SIM mode.

As many of you might have known, there is a high possibility that the next iPhones could be called iPhone 12s instead of iPhone 13. It's been a long time since the 's' appeared so it would be 'nice' to see the tradition makes a return. However, the latest news claims that the iPhone 13 might be skipped after the iPhone 12s due to superstition.

Based on a statement by asia.nikkei.com, it seems that Apple has started shifting their manufacturing operations to countries such as Vietnam, India, and Malaysia in order to reduce their dependency on China. The report also mentioned that Vietnam will focus on iPad production starting from the middle this year while Malaysia will manufacture the Mac Mini.

Businesses are always in competition with each other, sometimes in healthy ways and sometimes not. Recently, Apple decided to take the other approach by taking digs at Facebook. This could be seen in a recently released company document discussing data privacy.

A new iOS update isn't the only thing that Apple released recently. Previously, it was rumoured that the company would add premium features to some of its other services. That hasn't happened, but Apple did launch Time to Walk for Fitness+ subscribers.

It hasn't been that long since Apple released iOS and iPadOS 14.3, but it was far from perfect so a new version was announced. The new version 14.4 comes with some bug fixes and adds two features to your iPhone and iPad.

Every year, Apple would update its iOS to a new version, which inevitably blocks out older units. Back in November last year, it was already rumoured that iOS 15 might phase out a few older devices. Now, the rumour is back via another source with a little bit more information.

Software updates are rarely smooth sailing. For example, macOS Big Sur users reported an update turned their MacBooks into bricks back in November 2020. This time around, it would seem that multiple users are running into a screensaver bug on their Mac PCs.
