Within a week, Maxis came under fire by the Internet for not being transparent in their latest Hotlink prepaid offering. Now it's Celcom's turn and they quietly released their own Unlimited Prepaid plans. According to their website, there are 2 plans which are the Unlimited 7 days and Unlimited 30 days for RM12 and RM35 respectively, as well as the new Ultra Hour Pass Unlimited Internet Pass. 

Last week, Celcom took the initiative to offer the rakyat on unlimited WhatsApp, Xpax prepaid cashbacks and more. Just today, the blue telco decided to take another step by lowering down the prices on their MEGA postpaid plan as well as increasing the Ultra Hour Pass duration. 

Today, Celcom is introducing a new feature for customers to reload and enjoy some cashback and saving. In-line with the recently announced Economic Stimulus Package, this initiative aims to mitigate the adverse external economic impacts of the COVID-19 outbreak on Malaysia while preserving the welfare of the rakyat. This is applicable for both postpaid and prepaid Celcom users.

So apparently, Celcom has just started a new promotion on their Celcom Home Wireless. For a limited time only, customers stand a chance to win a 1-Year FREE subscription for the service up to 1000GB Internet data worth up to RM1800 for the whole family.

Well, this is a great way to start off the week. Celcom Axiata Berhad has been awarded by OpenSignal for achieving the first spot for 4G Availability and Upload Speed Experience in Malaysia. Today, Celcom Axiata Berhad has signed a new agreement on joining IC5G at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). IC5G is an initiative by UTM and Ericsson back in 2015, where its research and development on 5G technology is conducted for the benefit of students and industry professionals.

Today, Celcom has announced that its own eSIM (embedded SIM) package is now available. According to their website, only three phones are eligible for eSIM which are the Apple iPhone XS 64GB, iPhone XS Max 64GB and the iPhone XR 64GB model starting from RM58 per month.
