In an effort to improve privacy for its platform, Apple will be implementing a new policy for its App Store. Allegedly, apps that don't follow this new policy could be removed from the platform.

In case you've been hiding under the rock, Microsoft is indeed in talks with TikTok on acquiring the company. To briefly recap the situation, the US President Donald Trump has ordered TikTok to be sold to Microsoft and the deal must be done by 15 September 2020 or else it will be banned in the country.

Earlier, it was reported that Microsoft is interested in buying TikTok after the U.S. President Donald Trump said that the Chinese app is posing security risks to the country. Now, Microsoft has officially confirmed that they will proceed to acquire the platform which belongs to ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok.

It seems that TikTok's USA woes are not about to end yet. The app was built by Chinese company ByteDance and the US government doesn't like that, citing it as a national security risk. US President Donald Trump said that the app may be banned, but is also considering alternatives for it.
