Based on a statement by asia.nikkei.com, it seems that Apple has started shifting their manufacturing operations to countries such as Vietnam, India, and Malaysia in order to reduce their dependency on China. The report also mentioned that Vietnam will focus on iPad production starting from the middle this year while Malaysia will manufacture the Mac Mini.

According to a report from Reuters, India is hindering a bunch of imported goods that are built in China from a few tech companies. With that said, products including Apple's iPhone 12 series and wearables from Xiaomi and OPPO are blocked by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) from entering the country since August.

Based on a statement by PUBG Mobile official website for the Indian region, it seems that they have officially pulled the plug on all PUBG Mobile services and servers starting from 30 October 2020 onwards. With that being said, if you’re residing in India, it is now impossible for you to play PUBG Mobile unless a VPN or proxy is being used.

Just recently, 16 companies have gotten formal approvals by the Indian Government to start local manufacture of consumer electronics. Among the 16 companies, both Apple and Samsung are included and this initiative is part of the $6.65 billion production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme to increase exports over the 5 years.

Earlier, it was reported that the Government of India has banned 118 apps from China due to security reasons. Among the apps, there are some popular ones like WeChat, PUBG Mobile, Alipay, Taobao, Arena of Valor, and many more. Now, it looks like the government wants to gain more control over the app usage of the users. With that said, the country is planning to launch an app store to rival Apple's App Store and Google Play Store.

India is one of PUBG Mobile largest fanbase (estimated 33 million users) so from a business point of view, this really hurt PUBG Corporation and they are taking action in working closely with the India government.
