There have been a few news on the next gaming phone from ASUS recently. Allegedly, the company could skip a number and name it the ROG Phone 5. Some live photos and specs of the phone have been leaked lately, but now some official sources have certified it.

It's becoming inreasingly clear that smartphone brands are trying to win the hearts of gamers all around. They introduce game optimization software, new waterfall displays for additional buttons, and also make their gaming devices as affordable as possible for the masses. Then, along came the ASUS ROG Phone 2. 

The first ROG Phone last year was a fan favourite and won our hearts, at the time it had the best gaming capabilities that any mobile gamer could ask for and it was quite difficult to think how the successor could be any better. It's been a year now since the ROG Phone was revealed to the world and surely captured a lot of attention (especially from the Philippines for some reason). With the popularity, there's bound to be a successor in the works and not surprisingly, ROG Phone 2 is scheduled to be released in the third quarter of 2019.

If you missed the special ROG Phone sale on 16 May 2019, ASUS will be having another one in its official online store during the Lazada Raya Sales and Shopee Super Brand Day. Once again, the ultimate gaming phone will have RM1000 off and it also includes a free GameVice in the package, starting from 5 June 2019.

You read that right, gamers. In conjunction with the Hari Raya sales on Lazada, ASUS Malaysia will be slicing off RM1000 on its ROG Phone only on 16 May 2019!! Also for this one-day sale, it's only applicable on the ASUS Flagship Store in LazMall and nowhere else.

With Razer Phone 2 officially entering into the Malaysia market, only a selected few partners will be selling the gaming flagship which includes TMT, All IT, PC Image, Gamers Hideout and others.
