So Samsung users, I hope you are using the mySamsung well because starting on 1 March 2018, Samsung Malaysia Electronics is pleased to announce Samsung Members app. Designed as a spiritual successor to mySamsung, it will offer Samsung mobile phone users more personalized privileges such as lifestyle rewards, tips on how to efficiently manage your device, and registering a device’s details and warranty.

Today, Samsung Malaysia Electronics has initiated a Flood Relief Campaign for the Penangnites by supporting affected customers in the form of free repair services for Samsung appliances and devices damaged in the torrent. All Service Centres located in Penang and Kedah are currently participating the good cause from now until 31 December 2017.

For the very first time in Malaysia, Samsung Malaysia has completed its long week event of the global Employee Volunteer Programme (EVP) at SMK Syed Mashor, Batang Kali, Malaysia. Today is the official closing and the company celebrated the collaboration with Samsung Electronics with its 33 Samsung employee volunteers all the way from South Korea.

Today, Samsung Malaysia Electronics is proud to announce that they have partnered up with Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS). By this initiative, the company has provided three ambulance transport units to MRCS in an effort to support their voluntary relief movement.

Samsung Pay, which was previewed in partnership with Maybank roughly a month ago, will soon be officially launched in Malaysia on 24th February 2017.

What is Samsung Pay? It is a wallet-less mobile payment system, that allows payments to be made at card terminals using compatible Galaxy smartphones (Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy Note5, Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy A Series (2016) and Galaxy A Series (2017)). While it was initially available only to Maybank VISA card holders, with the official launch, Samsung Pay will finally be able to accept both Mastercard and VISA cards issued by CIMB, Citi, and Standard Chartered too!
