Based on a report by Reuters, it seems that Huawei’s CEO Ren Zhengfei has recently made a statement hinting that Huawei could potentially focus more on software development in the future in order to alleviate the effects caused by the trade ban. With that being said, Huawei could potentially ramp down their smartphone manufacturing if they do start focusing more on software.

Aside from announcing the new HUAWEI Mate X2 foldable phone, Huawei also talked about HarmonyOS last night. HarmonyOS 2.0 beta version has been out for quite some time now and starting from April onwards, some Huawei phones will be getting the upgrade via OTA.

After releasing the Office 2019 back in September 2018, Microsoft will be bringing upgrades to the software by launching Office 2021 later this year. The news was announced yesterday with the company promising two new versions that will be available on both Mac and Windows PCs in the second half of the year.

Apart from the new iOS 14.3 software update, Apple also released iOS 12.5 for older iPhone models that don't support iOS 14. Why are they still doing that for out of date devices? Well, turns out that the iOS 12.5 includes COVID-19 exposure notification support. 

Today, Apple has released another iOS update patch and it's a good one for iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max owners. In iOS 14.3, the new software upgrade includes support for Apple ProRAW for the iPhone 12 Pro variants, as well as AirPods Max and Apple Fitness+. 

Just yesterday, vivo unveiled their latest OriginOS which will replace ColorOS in the future. There will be many new features for vivo smartphone users to use but perhaps the most important question is which phone would get the upgrade. To answer that, the company just posted the official roadmap on which vivo phone will be getting the software update.
