The Ministry of Communications and Digital (KKD) today officially launched the PAKEJ PERPADUAN prepaid mobile internet plan. First announced in December last year, the package is available from now until 31 December 2023 and offers 30GB of data at 3Mbps speed, with a validity period of 180 days for just RM30.

It was recently announced that the aforementioned PAKEJ PERPADUAN will launch on 28 February 2023. It will be available by major telcos such as CelcomDigi, Maxis Berhad (Maxis), Telekom Malaysia Berhad (Unifi Mobile), U Mobile Sdn Bhd (U Mobile) and YTL Communications Sdn Bhd (YES). It will replace the previous Pakej Remaja.

Deputy Communications and Multimedia Minister, Datuk Zahidi Zainul Abidin yesterday revealed in Parliament that two compounds have been issued to mobile service providers in Malaysia for not meeting the standard set by his ministry. As reported by national news agency Bernama, the two compounds include one amounting to RM60000 and the other compound amounting to RM20000 that is currently beng processed.
Zahidi further revealed that the two service providers compounded were Celcom, which failed to meet the standard in Sabah and the other one is Unifi Mobile, which failed to meet the standard in Melaka and Pahang. The Deputy Minister also confirmed that the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has opened 20 investigation papers on mobile service providers in our country.
