When vivo launched its X60 series in China, it became the first to house Samsung's new Exynos 1080 chipset. Recent rumours suggested that a global launch would be happening soon, but now we know for sure as vivo has confirmed it.

Based on a statement by gizmochina, it seems that the tech specs for the vivo X60 Pro may have been spotted on TENAA, giving us a better idea on what to expect when the smartphone is available globally. While not much is known in regards to the exact Malaysia release date, our source did mention that it will come equipped with an Exynos 1080 chipset.

Last month, reports of the vivo X60 series suggested that the company's new devices could be coming soon. The phone isn't available yet, but the launch can't be far off seeing as live images of the phone have appeared online.

A few days ago, there was a rumor mentioned that the vivo X60 and X60 Pro might sport an Exynos 1080 chipset. This is no surprise, because the previous X30 and X30 Pro models are featuring Exynos 980 chipset.
