The iPhone 15 Pro models this year might feature solid-state volume & power buttons

If you follow Apple closely, it's quite evident that the company is going for a buttonless iPhone in the next few years. They have got rid of the audio jack and soon the charging port with the reveal of the MagSafe wireless charging, now it's believed that the iPhone 15 Pro models could feature solid-state volume and power buttons.

According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, he said that the iPhone 15 Pro models could have two Taptic Engines to provide haptic feedback to compensate for the removal of the physical buttons. Furthermore, he also believes that this feature would eventually make its way to the iPad Pro and maybe the Apple Watch Ultra as well.

By removing the physical buttons, future iPhones would have an even better water resistance rating. On paper, this would prevent from moving parts wearing out in the long run. Since the pro variants could only have this, that means the standard iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus could still use physical buttons.

Of course, it's still too early to say anything as we are months away from September. So take it with a pinch of salt but what do you think of this new feature? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
