This week Malaysia's telcos announced their Samsung Galaxy Note7 pre-order deals and even newly announced Yes 4G LTE came out with pre-order bundles for the smartphone. Unfortunately, Samsung Malaysia had some bad news in that the Galaxy Note 7 will be delayed due to supply issues.

On the local side, OPPO launched their OPPO F1s "selfie expert" while Sony introduced their new EXTRA BASS product range. Other notable local events included that Celcom will be providing Xpax@KKLW packages for RISDA and MDeC launched the My Digital Maker initiative to support the upcoming ICT curriculum in schools.

On the rumours side, we may be getting the Honor 8 in Malaysia as soon as the end of the month. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 was also spotted along with the ASUS ZenWatch 3 which may now be sporting a round display.

This week we reviewed the Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016) along with a review for the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016). We also did a brief first impressions hands-on with the OPPO F1s but there's a lot more coming next week with plenty of more hands-on videos, reviews and tech news at TechNave.com.
