Based on a report by digitimes.com, it seems that MediaTek was the biggest chipset provider for smartphones in the year 2020 as they’ve supplied around 351.6 million chips in the year alone. Compared to the previous year, MediaTek supplied 27.2% more chipsets effectively overtaking Qualcomm.
