Samsung has officially announced that they will be permanently reducing the recommended retail price of selected Samsung Galaxy A series smartphones, namely the Galaxy A71, A31, A21s, A11, as well as the A01 smartphones. Furthermore, in terms of the pricing, the Galaxy A71, A31, as well as the A21s, will be priced at RM1699, RM999, and RM899 respectively while the Galaxy A11 and A01 will be priced at RM529 and RM399 respectively.

Based on a statement by Redmi executive on weibo, it seems that Redmi could be planning on releasing a “mini” smartphone in the near future. While not much is known in regards to when the smartphone will be available for purchase, the executive did mention that a smaller smartphone will come with a much smaller battery capacity due to the size of the smartphone.
