As of today (23 October in USA time-zone), the Apple iPod series has just turned 15 years old. It has sure come a long way since its debut in 2001 when Steve Jobs unveiled the first iPod model, and although it has faded away slowly due to the popularity of smartphones, we take a quick look back on its journey from 2001 until today.

Samsung Malaysia officially announced that the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) with S Pen is now available in Malaysia. You can get the 10.1-inch tablet at Samsung Experience Stores nationwide in black and white at RM1599 (inclusive of 6% GST). In addition, Samsung will also be including three-months of full acces to iFlix and music streaming via Samsung Milk Music.

A new report states that next year’s LG G6 will be sans Friends, or what LG call their modular products. This revelation is not surprising,  as the modular market has been small and niche since the beginning. 

By now, you all should have heard how Samsung is trying to refund the costumers who have pre-ordered the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, or exchanging the phone with a Galaxy S7 edge, from both Samsung store and even at the airport. However, there is a new rumour floating around; which claims that the company is planning to provide the Galaxy S8 for free, or by paying a minimum amount to those who pre-ordered the Galaxy Note 7.

If you wish that the Coral Blue from the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is available on other models, heads up. Samsung, through their office in Singapore, has announced that there will be a Coral Blue version of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge coming to the market soon.  

Alright, this should be the very last rumour about the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. Making the debut tomorrow in China on 25 October 2016, Xiaomi has done some marketing towards the smartphone with Hong Kong actor, Tony Leung who will also make an appearance at the event. Some media even claimed that the image above is the full version of the promotional poster, revealing the phablet.

After a month of the last reported mysterious Meizu phone in China Compulsory Certification (3C), the news is back again but this time with an official name released by Meizu Vice President, Li Nan online.

This week Malaysia saw the Bajet 2017, with a proposed increase in broadband speeds at the same price rate from January 2017, while Malaysia's telcos all came out with their respective Apple iPhone 7 deals. This includes Maxis with their trade up and RealView stock checker, along with U Mobile and their UPackage plan.

The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro was officially announced in China recently for about 3199 Yuan (RM1980). The phone goes for a HTC-like unibody on the back featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 chipset, 6GB RAM, 64GB storage + up to 256GB microSD, 6-inch FHD display and 4000 mAh battery. Other tech specs include a 16MP rear camera with phase detection autofocus and dual-tone LED flash, another 16MP front camera, dual SIM 4G LTE, NFC and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
