A rumour is circulating out of China that Microsoft, the current owner of the Nokia phone brand, is intending to close the division inside the company handling the brand and will licence the brand to Foxconn Corporation. Microsoft owns the right to use the Nokia name for smartphones until 2024, according to the deals when they owned the latter in 2014.

We have talked many times over the possible leaked design of the upcoming Apple iPhone 7. This latest image leak may be the clearest of them all. The photo shows the dual-lens design of the upcoming higher spec smartphone from Cupertino.

Fast charging is old hat to companies like OPPO. They have their own version of a fast charging solution called VOOC that gives phones like the OPPO R7 Plus the ability to charge to 75% capacity in 30 minute. However there are already rumours online for the upcoming OPPO Find 9a to get a supercharged version of the VOOC – called the Super VOOC Flash Charge.

This week Huawei unveiled the honor V8 with dual rear cameras, a 2K display version and the latest Kirin 950 tech specs with their RM60 honor Band A1. Xiaomi went big with their 6.44-inch display Mi Max phablet alongside their Mi Band 2 smartband. On the local side, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End launched at midnight while the Tencent QQ Watch for kids was also released. The folks at honor Malaysia also brought in their more premium honor Band SS complete with brass coloured metal body and Italian leather strap.

The announcement for the live launch of the Flash Plus 2 smartphone recently went out. Set for 17 May 2016 at 4pm, you can check them out at their site and maybe even win a Flash Plus 2 via their lucky draw. Tech specs and features have not been detailed yet, but the teaser image clearly shows a fingerprint and mentions "More than Metal" indicating that it will have a metal body and a fingerprint sensor (perhaps built into the front home button). Other tech specs likely to return include an LED flash for both front and back cameras but you can check out the teaser video for yourself below.

We have seen many action cams being sold here and there, with GoPro being the most popular brand in this segment of the market. LG looks to want to join in the fun, and has announced the LG Action CAM LTE. What makes this camera different than any other action cam is the built-in 4G LTE connectivity which allows it to stream without the need of any accompanying smartphone to any streaming service such as Youtube Live. 

If you have hard of the Remix OS, check out their latest creation. They have combined their Android-base OS, with an all-in-one system to make their own take on the Android desktop machine. This collaboration is with the monitor manufacturer AOC, and the device, called the AOC Mars, looks quite decent.
