In continuing the Computex 2019 crusade, ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) also announce some new toys for the hardcore gamers. First up, there's a new world's first gaming display - the ROG Swift PG27UQX with G-SYNC Ultimate, using mini-LED technology delivering 4K HDR visuals, as well as ROG's latest Crosshair VIII motherboard featuring AMD's 3rd Gen Ryzen CPUs.

Today, the Redmi K20 series has been revealed in China and just as the internet predicted, there's the K20 and K20 Pro but with many different memory variants, starting from the price tag of 1999 Yuan (~RM1213). Financial Times revealed that Bytedance, the owners of popular app TikTok is currently developing its own smartphone. This isn’t that surprising as the company had acquired some people from Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Smartisan.

It seems like Huawei had anticipated this move for awhile and has been working on their very own OS. Reports have surfaced that the OS may be named “Ark OS” instead of the initially thought HongMeng.

Apart from the new ASUS ZenBook lineup, ASUS also got to show new VivoBook lineup too at their 30th Anniversary in Computex 2019. Designed to appeal to a younger audience, the new VivoBook products are featuring the ScreenPad 2.0 secondary screen but not like the ZenBook Pro Duo.

Vivo has never been one to shy away from new and interesting innovations. Their current innovation they may be one of the interesting ones I’ve ever seen and it is a detachable camera module on their smartphone, the vivo NEX 2.

With an overall score of 98, the ASUS Zenfone 6 takes over the selfie king throne - taking over the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G’s spot. In terms of photo, the Zenfone 6 scores 101, a tie with the S10 5G and in terms of video, it scores 93, once again, beating out the S10 5G.

In conjunction with the Raya festivities, Samsung has released a short film on Youtube with the title “Seringgit”. The six-minute short film is based around rediscovering the true spirit of Raya, and the act of carrying on the tradition in a progressive society.
