While MWC 2016 is still coming in the next few weeks, many rumours about the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge have appeared. These include a leaked slide showing off the tech specs and renders from case makers. No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet, but Samsung have traditionally announced their Galaxy S series at an unpacked event before or during MWC. Check out the renders and tech specs below:

• 4GB RAM
• 5.1-inch display (Quad HD, 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution)

As Wiko will be making their debut tomorrow for the first time in Malaysia, the three smartphones that we have mentioned earlier today – Wiko Highway Pure 4G, Fever 4G and Lenny2, will be presented. Granted, these three smartphones are actually entry – mid range level only; so we took an overall look at the three devices to see what's the difference between the three Wikos'. Great news to all Digi subcribers, Digi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd and iflix, Southeast Asia’s leading Internet TV service, have collaborated together offering Digi subscribers a 12-month iflix subscription, valued at RM96 bundled with their new postpaid plan (Digi SmartPlan 65 and above) at no additional charge, with compliments from Digi. This has already started since yesterday (26 January) onwards.

This allows Digi subscribers to connect to iflix without needing to register for an account, as all they have to do is download the iflix app (available on Android and iOS) and the system will automatically recognize the user through Digi's network. 

According to DigiTimes, it's been reported that Apple's second-generation wearable, the Apple Watch (2016) will begin mass production in the second quarter of the year. If that's true, that means the Apple Watch won't likely to make an appearance in the rumoured March event by Apple, where they plan to present the new “4-inch iPhone” along with it. 

To further strengthen the confirmation by Xiaomi's co-founder and Senior VP Liwan Jiang, who statedXiaomi Mi 5's official launch date on his Weibo account just two days ago. Xiaomi's global VP, Hugo Barra also said the same thing on his Twitter that 24 February is indeed the official launch of the Xiaomi Mi 5. We are just a month away! 

The Mi 5 will be the company's next flagship smartphone of this year, as we already know that it's powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor which is Qualcomm's latest chipset. Besides that, reports are saying it could also sport a 3GB or 4GB RAM, three variants of 16GB, 32GB or 64GB internal storage, a 5.2-inch display (1080 x 1920 pixels / 1440 x 2560 pixels, 2.5D curved glass), featuring a 16MP rear camera + 13MP front camera, fueled by 3030 mAh battery, and operating on the latest Android 6.0.

Newcomer smartphone manufacturer Wiko will make their debut in Malaysia tomorrow showcasing not one, but three devices. Originally from Marseille, France, their emphasis on inspiration and vision are heavily defined and cultivated in France, bringing unique products, designed and created to satisfy their customers.

The three smartphones that likely to appear at the event are Wiko Highway Pure 4G, Lenny2, and Fever 4G. The Highway Pure will be the main highlight, as it is the slimmest and lightest 4G smartphone in the market; let's also keep in mind that these gadgets are entry – mid range level so we shouldn't put our expectations too high. LG G5 rumours continues to surface as we're just a month away from the MWC 2016, However, this time instead of concept renders what we got this time is an LG prototype protective casing as shown in the image above. 

There's a smartphone covered by the protective casing too, but we can't be too sure if it's the real LG G5. But rumours say that a leading online retailer, MobileFun has added “ArmourDillo” in their website for the G5 which seems to match. Not to mention, based on the previous concept renders; the dummy smartphone kind of matches the renders nicely with the dual cameras and fingerprint scanner on the back, and the volume button on the right side. It's also rumoured that the battery is removable from the bottom.

honor Malaysia are stirring up the smartphone market again by bringing in the honor 5X which was officially announced for Malaysia today. Looking much like a larger 5.5-inch display honor 7 without the customizable Smart Key and infra-red blaster, the honor 5x looks more premium with a brushed metal back. Coming along for the ride is the honor 7 Enhanced Edition which features bigger 32GB storage. The honor 7 Enhanced Edition also looks more premium with shiny metallic front bezels in gold. No pricing details or release dates for the two smartphones yet but the honor Band Z1 smartwatch was also launched as well for RM259.

Whether you heard of the Apple “iPhone 6c”, the “iPhone 5e”, or the 4-inch iPhone. There's now a new name for it and it's called the “iPhone 5se”, along with new speculated tech specs and features as well:-

• 8MP rear camera + 1.2MP Facetime HD front camera
• Will feature curved glass like on the iPhone 6 and 6s lines
• Have bigger panoramas and autofocus for video recording

Here's a fun fact, it actually has been awhile since Apple has updated the iPad Air 2 ever since its released in October 2014. And in case if you're wondering if we are ever getting an iPad Air 3, we now have a new rumour about the next-generation iPad.

The drawing above is a concept design from French website Nowhereelse.fr, it looks like the device could sport four-speaker design like the iPad Pro., with two at the top and the other two placed at the bottom. It will also feature a LED flash below the rear camera, which is a surprise because iPad isn't really made for taking pictures. Besides that, it could lack a 3D Touch feature, a faster processor chip, Oxide TFT display, Smart Connector and improved cameras.
