As MIUI 8 open beta is already out in China for testing, you can expect the final version to be packing up soon and released to the public in the next few weeks. During the period, here's what users have found a lot of neat stuff in the beta. Here are some of the upgrades and features found on the ROM.

Mr Anonymous strikes again as information regarding the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) has surfaced from our intrepid leakster. This time around he mentions that the Galaxy A9 Pro could be coming to Malaysia as soon as Friday this week for just RM1999. Tech specs have also been revealed to include:

• 4GB RAM
• 96GB storage (32GB internal storage + 64GB microSD bundle)
• A 6-inch Super AMOLED display with full HD (1920 x 1080 pixel resolution)
• 16MP rear camera (f/1.9, Optical Image stabilization) + 8MP front camera (f/1.9)
• 4G LTE Cat6 connectivity

Having dual-camera modules seems to be the thing to have with manufacturers today. The Honor 6 Plus, HTC One M8 and the current crop of Huawei P9 and LG G5 are some of the smartphones that are now sporting dual-camera sensors. We will definitely see more in the near future, as Samsung is listed as one of the major suppliers of dual-camera modules to Chinese OEMs.

So it turns out to be true, Huawei is indeed planning to release the Honor 8 flagship next month in China. Words have been going around that the release date is 5 July 2016 and in the teaser poster, the words translated on it are "Beauty Out of the Ordinary".

Not so many big official announcements this week so the rumours were focused on a bit more with the OnePlus 3 not using 100% of its 6GB RAM and its CEO's subsequent response.
