After days from previous teasers, the iCaur V23 has officially launched in Malaysia, arriving as the second electric vehicle from the Chinese brand under the local iCaur subsidiary. The new EV goes on sale just a few months after the brand’s first model, and positions itself as a compact off‑road‑style electric SUV for city and adventure use, with a starting price of RM119800.

Launched last month in China, the realme 11x 5G has made its way to our country via UMobile. Specifically, consumers in Malaysia can get the mid-range device for free with the UMobile U Postpaid 98 plan.

According to OPPO Malaysia's official Facebook page, the R9s Green Edition will be available for pre-order soon on 11 August 2017. The price is said to be the same RM1798, unlike the Black Edition which is RM1828. And of course, you can also expect it to be on limited sales.

Branding it as the "Selfie Expert" OPPO Malaysia have launched the OPPO F1s, packing in a 16MP front camera, front fingerprint sensor and metal unibody chassis for just RM1198. It will be available on pre-order from 10 August 2016 until 19 August 2016 with general availability nationwide from 20 August 2016 onwards.

Powered by a MediaTek MT6750 processor and 3GB of RAM, the F1s offers a 5.5-inch display with 720p HD resolution. The phone is clearly aimed at the young and trendy or those who simply like to take selfies as it also comes with selfie centric camera features like Selfie Panorama and Beautify 4.0.

OPPO Malaysia have launched their OPPO R7 series... without the OPPO R7. Instead, we have the OPPO R7 Plus for RM1998 and the OPPO R7 Lite for RM1298. Both feature full metal frames, 2.5D glass on the front, a midrange 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and dual-SIM 4G LTE. The R7 Plus sports a larger 6-inch full HD display, a fingerprint scanner on the back, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage with 128GB microSD, a 13MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash, 8MP front camera and 4100 mAh battery. Measuring in at 7.75mm thin and a rather hefty 192g it will be available for pre-order on 11 July 2015, or this Saturday. Tech specs for the smaller R7 Lite include 2GB RAM, 16GB storage with 128GB microSD, 5-inch display, 2320 mAh battery and measures in at just 6.3mm thin. No Malaysia release dates yet for the R7 Lite or the original R7 yet but these are expected later in the year.

The previously rumoured OPPO R1S has apparently reached Malaysia, only this time it may be going by the name of OPPO R1L. Bearing the same metal frame design as the OPPO R1 but packing in better tech specs and features, the smartphone will be priced at RM1198. Unlike the R1 which packed in a MediaTek processor, the R1L has the tried and tested Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, which provides 4G LTE support. The full tech specs and features for the OPPO R1L include:

Celcom will be launching the Samsung Galaxy S5 on 11 April 2014. Having already done the preview night for their Celcom First Elite customers, the launching on Friday will see Samsung's latest flagship smartphone bundled together with Celcom First Voice + Data mPro bundle plans from RM988. In addition to these bundle plans, Celcom will also offer a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite or Samsung Galaxy Y Neo at RM55 for the first 200 customers who attend the launching at the Bluecube Sunway Pyramid store. These customers will of course have to sign up for a Celcom First and mPro plan at the launch.

With the Nokia Lumia 1020 out and the Nokia Lumia 925 on the way to Malaysia, it was just a matter of time before some telco offered the Nokia Lumia 920 at subsidized prices. Celcom is now offering the Nokia Lumia 920 from as low as RM1198. As usual it is on contract with one of the Celcom First plans plus a Mobile Internet plan. Thankfully, the contracts are available for 12 months and 18 months but you will have to pay an extra advance payment which will be rebated later on.
