At MWC 2026 in Barcelona, U Mobile has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd to collaborate on digital innovation initiatives powered by 5G-Advanced (5G-A), artificial intelligence (AI), and emerging technologies. The partnership aims to accelerate the development of advanced applications aligned with U Mobile’s digital transformation roadmap, while supporting Malaysia’s broader digital economy ambitions.

As reported before, Huawei Malaysia is set to introduce the new HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro, marking the return of the Mate Series to the Malaysian market three years after the launch of the HUAWEI Mate 50.
