As a friendly reminder, Microsoft already announced that its Authenticator app will discontinue the ability to autofill passwords starting in July 2025. You can still access the app in Malaysia, but if you're using it, you ought to transfer all your saved passwords.

On Labour Day, Microsoft has joined the FIDO Alliance and other tech leaders to launch the inaugural World Passkey Day. This initiative will see a shift away from traditional passwords to more secure, phishing-resistant passkeys.

WordPad was introduced in Windows 95 and has been in the Windows operating system until Windows 11. In 2020, Microsoft began to allow users to uninstall WordPad and in September of 2023, it was heard that the application would be removed. In Windows Insider last January, WordPad was no longer visible.
