Previously, we reported on OnePlus teasing its first-ever Android tablet with an official poster on its official Indian website. Now, the tablet has been confirmed to make its debut during OnePlus’ Cloud 11 event through an official poster which also revealed its name: OnePlus Pad.

Yesterday, we reported that OnePlus may launch the much-rumoured OnePlus Pad during the Cloud 11 event this 7 February. Well, the company has since teased the design of the tablet and further alluded that the device is indeed coming next week.

OnePlus has long been rumoured to be working on its first Android tablet and now, more sources are pointing toward it being released this 7 February. These include reliable tipster Abhishek Yadav who claimed that the tablet would launch during the company’s upcoming Cloud 11 event next week.

If you’re a OnePlus 7 series  or OnePlus 7T series owner, then we’ve got some bad news for you as the two 2019 flagship series from the company have officially run its course software-wise. Announced via a OnePlus community forum post, Winkey W. from the company’s software team confirmed that OxygenOS 12 MP3 update would be the last build for both smartphone series.

Here are the unboxing and first impressions of the OnePlus 7 Pro, which has a 90Hz display with HDR10+ capabilities, pop-up front-facing selfie camera, triple rear camera setup, warp charging and more. The device is currently priced starting from RM2999, and the device's display has been graded A+ by DisplayMate which is the highest rating possible to date.

Investigation by Android Police revealed something very interesting about the OnePlus7 Pro. The 3x optical zoom on the telephoto lens is actually not 3x zoom but is around 2.2x zoom instead. The remaining 0.8x is achieved by cropping. With no digital zoom used in the photo, the photo retains its detail and quality.

Starting today, the OnePlus 7 Pro has been officially launched in Malaysia starting from RM2999 and it will come equipped with notable features such as a HDR10+ and smooth 90Hz capable display, front-facing pop-up camera, 30W Warp Charge fast charging capabilities, and facial recognition system that is capable of unlocking the phone in just 0.21 seconds. It will be available in 3 different colours including Nebula Blue, Mirror Gray, and Almond from partners across Malaysia. The OnePlus 7 Pro has been officially revealed in New York of the United States and it has three variants. Starting with the 6GB + 128GB variant, the starting price is 669USD (~RM2790) while OnePlus 7 was no where to be mentioned. The phone will come with 3 different colour designs - Black, Blue and Rose Gold.
