As promised, the Minister of Communications Fahmi Fadzil just officially announced the Pelan Pakej P-Hailing RAHMAH ceremony today. At the event, he mentioned that all p-hailing platform users can subscribe to the package starting today until 23 April 2023 and enjoy mobile internet services as low as RM33 per month.

In line with Fahmi Fadzil's initiative to assist all p-hailing riders' financial burdens, U Mobile just announced its Pelan Pakej P-Hailing RAHMAH this morning. From the FAQs, the offer consists of a rebate for 12 months for selected Enterprise postpaid SIM plans.

Update - U Mobile and Yes have announced their P-Hailing plans
Yesterday, Fahmi Fadzil, Minister of Communications did a Facebook post about talking with a Foodpanda rider. After hearing the burdens of Nazirul not having enough savings, especially for phone bills as a rider, Fadzil decided to do something about it to help the B40 food delivery riders.

Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong has announced that all p-hailing drivers and riders will be required to contribute to the Self-Employment Social Security Scheme (SKSPS) under the Social Security Organisation (Socso). Speaking in Parliament yesterday, Wee asserted that the contributions will be made as a pre-condition for them to obtain a vocational license, which itself will be made mandatory.
