In case you didn't know, Computex 2021 just begun and AMD showcased a wide range of the latest computing and graphics technologies. During the presentation, AMD President and CEO Dr Lisa Su unveiled a new 3D chiplet technology, AMD Ryzen processors, 3rd Gen AMD EPYC processors and a full slate of new AMD graphics technologies for gamers. 

More people are gaming every year, but not everyone can afford high-end GPUs. That's especially true in a year where GPU shortages are causing prices to spike up. As such, it's not surprising to see AMD come up with new RDNA 2 GPUs for more mainstream gamers.

Remember the piece of Exynos news from yesterday? It's said that Samsung is working on a new Exynos chipset with AMD GPU that will be used in laptops. A reliable source has said that this is the Exynos 2200 chipset, which will also be used in other devices.

Rumours about a Samsung Exynos chipset with AMD GPU have been around since January. Some sources claim that it would be used for mobile devices, but most believe it'll be for a laptop. More importantly, it seems there's now an estimated release window for it.

AMD's Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs have enough power to put them on par with Nvidia's cards, but the company is aiming to do more. There's no doubt that AMD has already become testing its new RDNA 3-based GPUs. What's interesting is that there are already some rumours on specs.

AMD has announced new CPU series that is aimed to level up the gaming experience in PC. The new Ryzen 5000G series processors not only bringing impressive tech specs but are also the first AMD processors with built-in graphics. They will combine the Zen 3 processing capabilities with Vega 8 integrated graphics to present an above-average GPU performance.

While some may prefer the convenience of laptops, desktops are still a mainstay for many corporations. AMD's Ryzen APUs are great in that sense, as they are relatively affordable yet provide good performance. In fact, the next generation of APUs is coming soon.

Based on a report by tweaktown.com, it seems that there was a rumour going around that TSMC could increase the price per wafer by up to 25% in the near future. With that being said, it could potentially affect the prices of products equipped with TSMC-made chips by up to 25% as well.

For the longest time, gaming laptops relied on Intel CPUs to deliver the best gaming performance. However, Intel's star has fallen and we've begun to see more laptops with AMD CPUs since 2020. This year, more gaming laptops are expected to feature AMD's latest Ryzen 5000 mobile series CPUs.

Based on a statement by money.udn.com, it seems that Xiaomi might resort to sourcing chipsets from MediaTek due to the current shortage in Qualcomm chipsets. With that being said, we could see more Xiaomi smartphones equipped with MediaTek chipsets in the future.
