Have you been waiting for new PC components before deciding on what to buy? Well, it looks like the wait is over for AMD fans as the company has confirmed that new products will be coming soon. The Zen 3 CPUs will be unveiled on 8 October 2020, while the RDNA2-based GPUs will be announced on 28 October 2020.

A while back, it was rumoured that the new Exynos 1000 chipset from Samsung could outperform the Snapdragon 865 in terms of GPU performance. But it looks like Samsung's next flagship chipset won't have what it takes to beat the upcoming Snapdragon 875 chipset.

Earlier this month, HONOR has launched a few laptops including the MagicBook 14/15 and the MagicBook Pro 2020 Ryzen Edition. Now, it looks like the Chinese brand will not only be making standard laptops to suit general needs, but they will also be making their steps into the gaming laptop field. Today, sketches of their gaming laptop have been leaked and revealed that the series will be called 'Hunter'.

Now that AMD has seen success with its mobile CPUs for 2020, the company is turning towards the huge OEM desktop PC market. AMD has unveiled the Ryzen 4000G series and Athlon 3000 series APUs that are built on the 7nm process. In particular, the Ryzen 4000 G series will be targeted at OEM and system integrators.

Remember the Huawei desktop PC we mentioned earlier this month? Turns out it could be the same one hinted back in June, the one that's expected to feature an AMD Ryzen 5 Pro 4400G APU. Now, we have a better idea of how it looks thanks to leaked images of a grey-coloured version of the desktop PC.

Back then, if you were keen on getting a laptop that has good performance and battery efficiency, you’d have to go for laptops that typically cost more than RM3000. But thanks to AMD who recently released their new Ryzen 4000 series processors, they’ve managed to drive down laptop prices to a much more affordable level while maintaining adequate performance and battery life.

The desktop GPU war is expected to heat up again in late Q3 2020. Nvidia and AMD are expected to launch new graphics cards based on new GPU architecture, with both camps likely to outdo the current king of the hill - Nvidia's GeForce RTX 2080 Ti.
