    Today, apart from announcing the latest Apple Watch Series 6 and Watch SEApple also announced the iPad lineup. As speculated, the revamped iPad Air (2020) was introduced and so as the iPad 8th-Gen with new tech specs and features. No availability for the Malaysian market yet but the official prices are starting from RM2599 and RM1449 respectively.

    While we've yet to see any news on Malaysia release dates or pricing for the Apple iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3, the Apple Malaysia Store has already revealed the updated pricing for the previous Apple iPad tablets. This includes a price drop for all of the tablets including the iPad Air, iPad mini and iPad mini 2 of about RM150 to RM300 or so for each. The iPad mini now only has 16GB versions, while the iPad mini 2 has 16GB and 32GB versions. The previous iPad 4 has also been removed from listings, leaving the iPad Air with 16GB and 32GB versions.     Apple's Red Friday sale is on for one day, discounts for iPad Air and more!

    We mentioned this happening earlier but Apple's Red Friday one-day sale has started. As expected the discounts aren't really that high, but they are a good incentive to get a new Apple product. That's right, rather than sell old products for cheap, the Apple Malaysia Store are selling mostly new and current Apple products like the Apple iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina Display.     Maxis has recently revealed the Malaysia pricing for the Apple iPad Air 4G Cellular version beginning from RM2049 for the 16GB version, RM2299 for the 32GB version and RM2649 for the 64GB version. While these are the retail prices, the Apple iPad Air Cellular version is available on Maxis SurfMore data plans from RM1449 on a 24 month contract.     Maxis has recently opened up teaser images of the Apple iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina Display. Unlike Celcom and DiGi, Maxis isn't opening any registration of interest forms just yet, but rest assured that they will be offering the tablets with Maxis 4G on their SurfMore data plans. This also means that if you're looking to get either an Apple iPad Air or iPad mini with Retina Display from Maxis you can expect to get the 4G LTE Cellular models that also come with the same prices. Unfortunately, Maxis did not reveal any pricing or Malaysia release dates but many are expecting this to come up in early December 2013 so people can get their Christmas shopping done.     Fresh after their gold-plated Apple iPhone 5S, Goldgenie are now shifting to larger devices with gold-plated versions of the Apple iPad Air and Apple iPad mini with Retina Display. As usual, Goldgenie are offering the tablets in a choice of 24k gold, rose gold and platinum. Prices start from $2124 (RM6755) and can reach as high as $10000+ (RM31790) as you can further customize the device with crystals, diamonds and other precious bling. You can also expect the tablets to also weigh a fair bit more than the normal tablets. As usual, there was no Malaysia release dates or pricing but they'd probably ship here if you throw enough money at them. As a show of how much more premium the gold-plated iPads will be, Goldgenie are also offering premium black wooden boxes rather than the standard brown.

    Apple recently announced the latest version of their Apple iPad tablet. Not very keen on numbering this 5th generation tablet either, Apple have called it the iPad Air mainly because it is much thinner an lighter than previous versions. While it has the same 9.7-inch Retina Display, the iPad Air has slimmer bezels and a thinner overall look, confirming earlier rumours and leaks that it would look more like the iPad Mini. While it doesn't have any Touch ID fingerprint scanner it does pack in the new 64-bit Apple A7 processor and chipset with M7 coprocessor making it as powerful as the Apple iPhone 5S. Other tech specs and features for the Apple iPad Air include the following:

    • 16GB / 32GB / 64GB / 128GB storage
