Following years of users’ requests, Apple finally introduced the Always On Display feature on the iPhone 14 Pro series. However, its current implementation leaves a lot to be desired, with many users complaining about battery drain issues and that the Always-On Display looks too similar to when the iPhone is active.

Well, based on the latest iOS 16.2 beta version, it looks like the Always-On Display feature will improve in the next iOS update. In the aforementioned beta version, Apple added new options to the feature, giving users the choice of whether to show wallpaper and notifications when Always-On Display is activated.

Previously, we reported that the new Crash Detection feature on the iPhone 14 series is mistaking roller coaster rides for car accidents, prompting Apple to say that “there’s no silver bullet” for the feature. Now, with the release of iOS 16.2 beta, Apple is letting users report to the company when Emergency SOS is unintentionally triggered on iPhones.

Apple is currently in the midst of rolling out the iOS 16.0.3 update to supported iPhones today which will fix several known issues with the previous version of iOS. These include bug fixes for mail app crashes and notifications as well as an improved camera experience for the iPhone 14 Pro lineup.

A real-life example of the feature in action happened yesterday in Nebraska, United States after a passenger’s iPhone 14 series smartphone automatically alerted responders of a car crash that its owner was in. Tragically, all 6 involved in the accident were killed after the car they were in hit a tree.

Apple had a rocky start in launching the iPhone 14 series. Many have taken the issue of the rattling noise that the iPhone 14 Pro series makes to social media, demanding a fix. Thankfully, the Cupertino-based company was quick to release a statement regarding the issue and promised to bring the update for the bug fix soon, and it did.

Now, there’s even an app called ‘dynamicSpot’ by an Android developer named Jawomo that would put Dynamic Island on your Android device.

Owners of the new Apple iPhone 14 Pro lineup are reporting some weird bugs when using the device’s cameras with third-party apps. These include camera shakes and grinding noises when using the camera on apps such as TikTok, Snapchat and Instagram.
