Apple is reportedly working on multiple new external monitors that are powered by Apple Silicon, including a new version of the Apple Pro Display XDR. This is according to reliable tipster and tech insider Mark Gurman.

Samsung has a bit of a history of releasing ads mocking Apple and making fun of the iPhone lineup. Well, the South Korean tech giant is back at it again, this time with a World Cup-themed ad featuring the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 and the Apple iPhone 14 Pro.

Previously, we reported that the European Union (EU) is planning to force tech companies to do more changes on their mobile devices, including allowing third-party app stores, app sideloading and message interoperability. Well, after confirming that it will comply with the EU’s USB-C law, it looks like Apple is also gearing up to adhere to this latest ruling and reportedly preparing to allow third-party app stores on the iPhone.

With iOS 16.2 now available to download, Apple Music Sing can now be used in your Apple Music app. After updating your iPhone, you can just simply open the app and head over to search -> browse categories -> and tap on Sing.

Apple doesn't usually specify the origins of the components in the iPhones. However, for the first time, CEO Tim Cook confirms that the company has partnered with Sony for many years "to create the world's leading camera sensors for iPhone."

At the end of last month, Twitter decided to hold off on the relaunch of Twitter Blue. Allegedly, this was because Elon Musk didn't want to pay the 30% cut that the Apple App Store collects from all apps with transactions. However, it looks like the company will relaunch it soon.

This week, Apple announced that there will be a new karaoke feature called Apple Music Sing. Set to launch later this month to all Apple Music subscribers this month, it turns out that not all the models will support it. 

Samsung found a new subtle way to roast Apple by asking iPhone users to try the One UI. The company has an official landing page to promote a feature that allows iPhone users to explore the Samsung Galaxy One UI, messages, and camera features.

Apple has tweaked how AirDrop functions on the iPhone, whereby users now only have the option to toggle AirDrop sharing with ‘Everyone’ for 10 minutes. Previously, the toggle allows you to always keep AirDrop on, thus allowing anyone nearby to share files with you.

Microsoft is reportedly working on a ‘super app’ that can dethrone both Google and Apple in the mobile search space. An all-in-one app that combines messaging, web search, shopping, news feeds and more, the concept is similar to how dominant WeChat is in China.
