With the launch of the Exynos 2200 yesterday, Samsung now has a new chipset that could compete with the Snapdragon 888 and Dimensity 9000. But how does it compare to the competition? Here are some preliminary benchmarks to provide us with some clues.

Earlier today, we posted news about the top 10 Android phones in October 2021. The Snapdragon 888 dominated that list, proving that no other chipset can currently match it in CPU or GPU performance. But Samsung could look to change that with its upcoming Exynos 2200.

With the growth of the mobile games industry, it's no surprise to see related technology growing by leaps and bounds. For example, ray-tracing has mostly been the domain of PC and console gaming. However, mobile games will soon be getting it too.

In the last few months, there have been occasional rumours on the Samsung Exynos 2200 chipset. It's said that the chipset handily beats the A14 Bionic and possibly the upcoming Snapdragon 898 chipset. But now a source has some specs for the chipset.
